From Climate Risk to Nature-based Solutions: Methodologies for Identification and Implementation

L4C webinar1

Join LAND4CLIMATE on 30 June for the first webinar of its Nature-based Solutions series: From Climate Risk to Nature-based Solutions: Methodologies for Identification and Implementation

This webinar explores practical and transferable approaches for identifying and prioritising Nature-based Solutions (NbS) across different regional contexts. Bringing together experiences from LAND4CLIMATE, CARDIMED, and NBRACER, the session highlights methodological approaches emerging from private land contexts, Mediterranean climate adaptation, and Atlantic resilience planning. It will also explore experiences from regions at the forefront of Nature-based Solutions implementation, including Steiermark, West Flanders and Izmir. The session will combine hands-on regional experiences with methodological perspectives from technical and academic partners, focusing on:

  • Private land and regional governance contexts
  • Mediterranean climate adaptation
  • Atlantic resilience planning

Together, they will explore questions such as:

  • Where do good Nature-based Solutions ideas most often struggle?
  • What makes an NbS methodology truly usable for practitioners and local authorities?
  • What is currently underestimated when identifying and implementing NbS across different regional contexts?
